GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE
- The Client hires from SoundEvents the equipment specified on the face hereof for the period and at the hiring charge specified.
- The goods are delivered without any warranty whatsoever as to their condition or quality and the Client acknowledges receipt of the equipment in good condition.
- The Client acknowledges that the ownership of the goods at all times remains vested in SoundEvents.
- The Client shall be responsible for any damages sustained by SoundEvents arising out of the Client's use and possession of the Client's equipment. the Client shall be responsible to replace any equipment missing or damaged for whatever reason at the current replacement cost. A certificate by SoundEvents certifying such replacement cost shall be final and binding on the parties and shall be sufficent for the purpose of obtaining summary or default judgements against the Client.
- The Client agrees to utilise the goods only in the manner for which they are intended not to tamper with or attempt to make any repairs to the equipment whatsoever in nature, without written consent from SoundEvents, if such works or repairs are effected without the written consent as aforesaid SoundEvents shall be entitled to demand from the Client the current replacement cost of any such goods.
- The goods shall be at the sole risk of the Client from date of receipt thereof to date of return to SoundEvents and irrespective of the cause. The Client shall be responsible for any missing or stolen equipment or for any damage to the equipment or for any damage sustained by any third party arising out of the Client's possession of the goods and indemnifies SoundEvents agains any such loss or damage.
- All equipment hired shall remain on the premises to which the equipment was delivered and shall not be removed there from, nor shall the Client lend any hired equipment to a third party without the written consent from SoundEvents. The equipment shall be kept safe and dry, the equipment shall be locked up when not attended, and the equipment is not to be stored in a vehicle.
- If the Client wishes to cancel the order, a notice period of 48 hours is required any late notice would mean a forfeit in deposit.
